My 2020 youth novel Opulence, Kansas was honored as First Runner-Up in the Legacy Fiction category, which comprises books of fiction of any type which were published more than two years ago. The good people at the Hoffer Awards say: “Unlike many in the industry, we think good books last more than a single season.” And I thank them for thinking mine deserved to be included.
